Eligible students can continue at the Woden Secondary Program. Year 11 and 12 courses have been carefully adapted and modifiied by teachers to ensure that students are enrolled in relevent and meaningful courses that provide oppotunites for success on completing school.
In addition, some students who are eligible to remain here may elect to to transition to a local college for years 11 and 12. Students can elect to attend any college in Canberra. This means a very supported transition to the local college. Further opportunities to support students in the decision-making about college placements can also be organised.
We really encourage students to participate and be part of this decision-making process. We also strongly recommend that you take the opportunity to attend open nights at the colleges with your son or daughter. Many of our students have moved successfully on to college settings.
